Genesis has been responsible for creating detailed drawings for the 5G communication room designs, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.

The Design Process
The design process included determining the locations of cabinets, HRN frames, and distribution boards, addressing fire upgrade requirements, and specifying mechanical cooling equipment and pipework locations. Additionally, the designs outline the cable route management system (CRMS) within the room, power and fibre cable runs, and ensure proper spacing and separation from adjacent assets. They also identify any existing assets to be removed and ensure maintenance access.
These detailed drawings by Genesis will enable the construction of the comms rooms and form the basis for as-built drawings, covering fire compliance, existing and proposed room layouts, and elevations.
